Motivational Speaking

From time to time I get msg, email or txt from people who have heard my story of reinvention and starting over. It is the most heart warming and moving experience to hear how I have touched the lives and inspired so many. I have to thank Sue Bryce for giving me that platform. Every day I am reminded how lucky I am to be creating the life I am living. Don’t get me wrong… it’s not a bed of roses everyday. But I am living proof that you can do anything you want to do if you are willing to put in the work… and at any stage in your life!!

This year I plan to start sharing that story with as many people as I can. I am currently developing a series of talks on the topic. Hope to see you! In the meantime, I wanted to share some of the stories that have been sent to me!

Kind words to remember

From: Glenn G

Message: Hi, Just wanted to reach out after having seen your video with Sue Bryce. First; you do beautiful work, and I am so thankful that you found portraits to be the way to earn a living, that satisfies your soul.

I majored in Photography in college, it still is my passion, but Art Direction and Graphic design are my vocation. My wife Ruth and I did really well in our design business in Washington DC, for 20 years until the recession hit us hard. Then, our income dropped to 10% of what it had been — for 10 years. It was painfully horrible as you can imagine. Now, at 71 I’m working at Billy Graham, my wife is recovering from lung cancer, and like yourself I find myself as the sole income earner. In a career that most likely will end in a couple of years.

What to do?

I’m taking  Sue’s 28 days, and Portrait Startup to relearn what I forgot from college, and so much more. 28 days is part psychotherapy and a great business class isn’t it. These is also a boat-load of knowledge to absorb, I haven’t been this excited about anything since getting into advertising in 1973.

Why am I reaching out to you? You may be on top of the world right now, or going through one of life’s deep valley’s, I don’t know.  But I know for SURE that you have inspired me, and that God has used you, to give me strength by showing me a glimpse of what is at the end of this career migration.

So Kitti, you may be a Godly woman of faith, or not. But I am here to assure you, that HE has used you to help us when we needed it. , With God you are never alone, he Loves you so much, and he cares for your welfare deeply. He is Always there for you to lean on, never forget that.

So thank you SO MUCH sharing your life experience, the heartache, the studio tour, and your work. As I struggle to learn so much so quickly, while still working 40  hours a week at BGEA.

I am SO grateful. Thank you once again. Keep doing your beautiful work, the world is better because of it, as are the lives of those you touch.

Glenn

Message: Hi Kitty,

I will be attending the portrait masters this year in AZ (Yeaaa!!). You are such an inspiration and between the inspiration and knowledge from you and Sue and I know I can do this too… and I am determined to do so.

I happed to watch your video again and  looked up your website and was thrilled to see you are booking shoots on the 3rd in AZ.

One of the things I would like is for me to exist in photos.  Let me know if you still have something available and either way I look forward to meeting you.

Best,
Ellen

I just watched your studio tour on Sue Bryce Education and I was so moved. You are a real inspiration. Seeing such honesty and determination is empowering. I have 3 daughters and I want to be able to create a legacy for them & have them see the reality of living your passion. I’ve shared your story with them as well. It has also made me determined to succeed and believe in my vision for my business. Much love from South Africa

I love your work. I watch you for inspiration. Love the video you just posted… Something I noticed: about 40 seconds in, it should say “Feel like you are being photographed…”
